A Dirty Collab: Roger Federer x KITH
Blink and you missed ON Running’s first tennis shoe collaboration with Roger Federer: “The Roger Pro” back in 2020.
Well, now back at it with a brand new “RF2”, Roger has teamed up with Kith founder Ronnie Fieg to create two brand new shoes that have been added to “The Roger” collection.

The Roger: Clubhouse Mid & The Roger Pro
The first shoe is the “Clubhouse Mid,” that will be similar to the rest of the already established “The Roger” collection, but will feature a new mid-top silhouette which is designed to be worn off- court.
The shoe will feature a raised collar that “nods to 90s-era tennis shoes worn by the pros", and has the feeling of a basketball high-top.

However, the second (and more exciting) drop for die-heart tennis fans will be the addition of a new colorway to “The Roger Pro collection.” This will complement the already established original blue and white design.

If that isn’t enough for you, there will also be a version of the new “Clubhouse Mid” that comes pre-rubbed in clay to “reference the early days in Roger’s career and tennis’ minor league professional circuits.” While “The Roger Pro” doesn’t come pre-rubbed in the clay, if you purchase Kith’s special package (including the Roger Pro and the Clubhouse Mid), you will also receive a bag of clay for “ultimate customization.”

Personally, I think I’ll be keeping my bag of clay in the package as a souvenir, and attempt to keep my nice and clean new Roger Pro’s in pristine condition.
