‘Iconic’ Andy Murray Wins Historic Australian Open Match

The action at the Australian Open has hit a fever pitch, and it’s Andy Murray’s doing.

The great Brit pulled off a come from behind victory from two sets down over Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis, in the longest match of his career. The second longest match in Australian Open history.

Many fans in North America were shocked to see that the 5 hour 45 minute match was still going on when they woke up.

Andy Murray has now played 10 sets of tennis through 2 rounds at the Australian Open. He will face fellow veteran Roberto Bautista Agut in round three, which could prove to be another physical battle.

Can the legendary Brit hold up for it? It would be wrong to doubt him after what we just witnessed.
